International Demand and Supply Planner

As International Demand and Supply Planner you are part of the Supply Chain team of La Lorraine Bakery Group within the Business Unit (BU) Frozen. This BU is one of the European market leaders for frozen bake-off products in retail and foodservice, with the ambition to further transform the bakery market worldwide. In this position you are responsible for the monthly sales forecast for our Western European Sales organizations. Your scope ranges from Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, UK to Spain. You also manage the replenishment planning for Denmark and Sweden.


In this role you will have dual responsibilities focusing on Demand Planning and Replenishment Planning. In both roles a close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders and close contact with the market is essential for success.

Your responsibilities as Demand Planner are:

  • Maximize product availability and deliver constant high service level to our European countries and customers.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to contribute to good performance via accurate Demand Forecast on mid and long term. You dare to challenge the business stakeholders in order to improve the forecasting.
  • Lead the demand planning process and implement continuous improvement plans. Make sure all functions contribute and own their part.
  • Participate in the budget process, including introduction of new products. Provide relevant input on volumes; ensure alignment on planned activities (promotions) while considering cost efficiency.

Your responsibilities as Replenishment planner are:

  • Depending on the sales planning, you follow up the stock weekly, you evaluate the orders according to the planning and you make the necessary changes.
  • You are responsible for the proactive management/adjustment/follow-up of stock management.
  • You ensure a correct follow-up and reporting of KPIs. You proactively formulate appropriate measures (service levels, stock differences...).
  • You support the countries in optimizing the logistic flows.

You’re based in the BU headquarters in Erpe-Mere and you report hierarchically to the Supply & Demand Manager.


  • You hold a master’s degree in an economic orientation
  • You have a solid professional experience in Supply and Demand planning
  • You speak and write in English fluently. Knowledge of Dutch and French are a plus.
  • You have good communication skills and are able to communicate with all levels in the organization.
  • You have strong analytical skills, you love to work in excel and you’re good at it.
  • You are well organized and able to keep the overview at all times.
  • Knowing your way in SAP is a plus.
