What can you expect from the position?

As a Project Manager, you will be trained to work independently as a project leader and take operational leadership of certain projects on the site at DOW Terneuzen. Initially, the focus will be on daily monitoring of the administrative and financial flow with the necessary reports. Gradually, you will also perform more operational and commercial tasks for the sites. Your tasks will be varied and include:

  • Maintaining daily project administration (from assignment to invoicing) and providing necessary reports.
  • Assisting in the efficient deployment of personnel and resources on-site.
  • Co-responsible for budget tracking.
  • Supervising employees and serving as the point of contact for issues, sickness, scheduling, etc. You will encourage teamwork with a coaching approach!
  • Ensuring the safety of employees is Altrad's top priority. Therefore, you will also follow up on safety regulations and address colleagues who do not comply.
  • Organizing site meetings and ensuring necessary follow-ups and briefings regarding site regulations, client requirements, instructions from the business unit manager, etc.
  • Actively participating in improvement projects on-site to ensure the best service for the client!

Are you the new colleague we are looking for?

  • You have a technical bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have an analytical mindset and enjoy daily problem-solving.
  • You are flexible in tasks and working hours.
  • You can multitask easily and are stress-resistant.
  • You are administratively strong.
  • You are an effective communicator and can express yourself well both orally and in writing in Dutch, English, and French.
  • You can work efficiently with Excel.
  • You possess a VCA certificate or are willing to obtain it shortly.
  • You live not far from Terneuzen.

Altrad Services Benelux offers you an attractive salary in line with current market conditions. You are entitled to 20 statutory vacation days and 12 ADV days. It is important to know that there is no collective closure during the construction holiday.
