As Business Development Manager at Agidens  you will be responsible for the development and further expansion of our business activities within our Validation & Testing division. With more than 25 years of experience and a team of about 140 consultants, our Validation & Testing team is a leading player in the field of validations within the life sciences industry.

We operate in Belgium, the Netherlands and Switzerland.

In this position, you are responsible for both acquiring new customers and supporting existing customers in Flanders. You will search for new customers, identify their needs, prepare quotations and negotiate contracts. Your main focus will lay in selling validation projects in hospitals.

What will you do?

  • Actively seek new clients and project opportunities within hospitals and the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Offer customised solutions and advice
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Understanding of validation activities within the pharmaceutical industry or hospitals is a plus, not a must.
  • Achieve sales targets and contribute to the growth of Agidens validation & testing in The Netherlands.
  • Reporting to management on the progress and results of sales activities.

Who are you?

  • To expand our validation work, we are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of demonstrable experience within sales in the life sciences industry.
  • Acquisition and cold calling are second nature. You enjoy making new customer contacts.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in both Dutch and English are essential.
  • Knowledge of validation activities and GMP in the pharmaceutical industry and hospitals is a plus, not a must. "Patient Safety" is a core value for you though.
  • You are a driven team player who wants to achieve common goals. A hands-on mentality and the ability to take initiative are appreciated.
  • You are known for keeping your appointments.
  • Flexibility is important, as you must be able to cope well with change; after all, every day is different.
  • "Get things done!" is your motto, emphasising that experience takes priority over education. A bachelor's or master's degree are not a requirement.
