What are we looking for?

To reinforce our software development team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer, for the Automation Business Unit, for our Maia office.

 

Mission

  • Preparation of scripts / installation setups for the developed software (on Linux and Windows);
  • Development and implementation of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, where the automation of builds and releases is essential;
  • Assembly, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting in development and QA environments;
  • Installation and configuration of software associated with the developed applications and also support in the configurations of the systems with which it interacts;
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting anomalous situations identified in the developed applications and in the supporting IT infrastructure for deploying critical complex software products;
  • Technical support for customers in production or pre-production environments for critical applications;
  • Implementation and maintenance of DevOps tools, such as monitoring and inventory systems, configuration management, etc.;
  • Documentation of the processes and procedures in which you are involved, namely: installation and maintenance support manuals, technical reports;
  • Be part of the Devops team working in a collaborative, informal and dynamic environment with the Development, QA and Operations teams.

 

Profile

  • BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering and/or Computer Electrical Engineering (or similar);
  • 1 to 3 years of experience;
  • Knowledge of Linux server administration (RHEL mandatory; proficiency in other distributions is valued);
  • Proficiency in ansible build and rpm;
  • Experience in infrastructure administration, such as VMware, and troubleshooting practices using observability tools;
  • Experience in monitoring tools (Splunk and Zabix, Nagios);
  • Experience with deployments, maintenance and troubleshooting of Containers (Kubernets, Docker);
  • Experience in applying best security practices to create, strengthen and protect infrastructures and applications;
  • Good understanding of networks, security, certificates and protocols - HTTP, SSL/TLS, load balancing, cache, proxy;
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and methodologies, such as CI/CD, process automation, configuration management, infrastructure monitoring;
  • Experience in DevOps tools commonly used in this context is valuable, such as: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, SVN, Terraform, Vagrant, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Python scripting, Public clouds, SCADA systems;
  • Critical thinking and ability to solve complex infrastructure and application problems;
  • Good oral and written communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to document the processes and procedures in which you are involved;
  • English proficiency.
