What will you do?

As an E&I Engineer, you are part of a multidisciplinary project team and are responsible for the field of electricity and instrumentation. You will make calculations and planning and where necessary support tenders for process installations and participate in engineering assignments for the biggest names within the Food & Beverages, Fine Chemicals and Energy industries. Together with the project team, you are involved from A to Z and are responsible for the commissioning and delivery of the projects. No lack of variety here! You communicate with colleagues from other professional disciplines, your clients and all parties involved in the project.

  • During the assignments, you work in teams or independently and in direct contact with the customer
  • During the project, you are responsible for the entire E&I scope from concept to commissioning. This includes concept, design, implementation, commissioning and as-built
  • You specify equipment in the field of measurement and control technology (control valves, pressure, temperature and level measurements, etc.)
  • You are the contact person for our customers, suppliers and subcontractors in the field of E&I. At kick-off and review meetings, you are the specialist on everything to do with electricity and instrumentation, both in terms of hardware and implementation
  • You ensure that the E&I part of the projects is coordinated from A to Z and delivered within the predetermined scope, planning and budget.
  • You face many challenges, but with your experience you provide targeted feedback to improve processes and standards
  • You are proactive and a motivator within the project team and together strive to achieve excellent results
  • You carry out the IO tests on site independently and/or with the project team and contractor, in which you are ultimately responsible for the E&I part on site
  • You report to the project manager on the progress of the project for your assigned E&I scope

Who are you?

  • You have at least MBO+ working and thinking level, preferably MBO-4 or HBO Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or equivalent through relevant work experience.
  • After an initial relevant work experience in the process industry, you have a sound technical knowledge of electricity, instrumentation and control technology, and industrial automation PLC technology.
  • Experience is nice, but your motivation even stronger.
  • You are familiar with ATEX, SIL, NEN1010, NEN3140 and HACCP and machine safety or are willing to acquire this knowledge through training.
  • You are critical of your own work and strive for continuous improvement. Your analytical mind, focus on quality and structured approach help you achieve this.

  • You have a driving licence (B)
  • You have a VCA full certificate or are willing to get one.
