Medical Expert

Description of the function:

Your role is to provide scientific support to Medical Affairs and Sales & Marketing departments, in order to support the development of EUMEDICA portfolio.

As a Medical Expert, you maintain a high level of knowledge in therapeutic areas of EUMEDICA’s products, by monitoring the scientific literature, participating in conferences, and through contacts with Key Opinion Leaders in the field of expertise.

As a Medical Expert, you will have to answer adequately scientific & medical requests from healthcare professionals. You will also analyze data from non-clinical and clinical studies, with the aim of preparing various scientific and regulatory reports (abstracts, posters, articles, and other reports for internal and external purposes).

You will be involved in the training of Sales teams and you will contribute to marketing actions. In this context, you will be involved in the development of promotional material by collecting, analyzing and implementing scientific & medical data.

You represent the company by participating in relevant congresses, symposia, advisory boards, and other meetings. You create and maintain a KOL network in your field of expertise.

You report directly to the Medical Affairs Manager.

Your profile:

• MD, PharmD or PhD in life-sciences.
• Experience in pharmaceutical industry (cardiovascular disorders & hematology, antimicrobial chemotherapy, gastroenterology, pain management, oncology) is an asset.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, and advanced presentation skills. Training in marketing is an asset.
• Ability to understand, interpret, discuss, and present complex scientific data.
• Ability to synthesize scientific information and to communicate it effectively at a peer level with HCPs.
• Well organized, you are able to plan your activities autonomously within a cross-functional team.
• Self-motivated and flexible, you are able to start and work independently within your area of responsibilities.
• Deliver quality is also part of your drivers.
• You are willing to go on the field and travel.
• You are fluent in French and English. Dutch professional working proficiency.
• You are at ease with IT tools. You are mastering at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
