Fresh Solutions Netherlands BV is a full service provider of fruits, vegetables, flowers and plants and is part of the Greenyard Group. At our location in Waddinxveen there are 3 business units. These are Fresh Solutions Netherlands B.V. (fruit & vegetables), Fresh Solutions Flowers NL B.V. (flowers & plants) and Greenyard Supply Chain Services (warehousing for the Greenyard Group).

Machine Operator
(fulltime)
What are you going to do?
In our warehouse (36.000m2) we process a wide range of fruit and vegetables. As a Machine Operator you will work between our sorting, weighing, packaging machines etc. to achieve the desired results together with your team.
The main duties are:
- Distributing workstations and operations;
- Coordinating and ensuring the correct supply of packaging/product;
- Directing/instructing the production workers on the line;
- Operating the (packaging) machine and monitoring the production process;
- Identifying disturbances and performing periodic checks and minor maintenance, in cooperation with the Technical Department;
- Checking and using labels, stickers and weights.
Who are we looking for?
For this position we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced colleague who has worked in the Fruits and Vegetables industry. You will be deployed to different machines, which brings a nice variety. Of course, you do not have to master every machine, but you do have the ambition to learn and be deployed as widely as possible. You can also be deployed as a foreman/woman at the repacking table.
You are proactive, have good communication skills and are willing to assist with other work (e.g. driving a pump truck) if the situation requires it. The position as Operator is not a 9 to 5 job. You have no problem starting early or working late shifts. You will also regularly work on Saturdays.

- You are stress resistant, can make choices and set priorities;
- You are accurate and spot deviations;
- You have a good command of the Dutch and/or English language, both verbally and in writing.
