Product Manager

As a Product Manager you are responsible for product planning,

delivery and marketing throughout the product lifecycle.

Function:

After consulting various stakeholders, combined with internal/external analysis and your own experience, you propose a "go to market" plan, in order to introduce new products.
For existing products, you manage the entire product life cycle. By identifying key benefits and values of products, you will be able to create and maintain marketing plans and collateral (including web updates, product training materials and sales training).
In consultation with R&D, you translate market needs towards products that meet customer requirements. You are closely involved in new developments or adjustments to existing products. The end user must always be the central focus.
You are in close contact with the technical/commercial department. In consultation with them, you gather market information and provide them with technical and commercial product information. Both internally and externally, you are regarded as an expert on your product portfolio. This is also evident during contacts with customers/prescribers or industry associations.
You ensure that sales margins are respected.
Your outlined strategy should be in line with the marketing actions.
In close cooperation with the marketing department, you provide content and final approval concerning product-related marketing documents and packaging.
