The Purchase to Pay Manager (P2P Manager) will design and implement a scalable, automated purchase to pay process for our international company's growth. With 80% of Lineas' spending through external contracts, the P2P process is vital for efficient purchasing, spend control, timely supplier payments, and fraud prevention.

The goal is a centralized P2P system that can handle increasing invoice volumes due to international expansion. The P2P Manager will work with stakeholders and suppliers to optimize the process and lead a team focused on value-adding activities over routine tasks. High-quality standards are essential for this role, which reports to the Head of Finance Operations.

What will you do?

The Purchase to Pay Manager oversees P2P process design, documentation, and internal controls, driving efficiency improvements. He/she manages updates and monitoring of P2P procedures and workflows and oversees the centralized procurement to pay process in collaboration with Procurement & Cash Management, managing DPO (Days Payable Outstanding).

This role includes handling month-end/year-end closing, ledger reconciliations, and maintaining accuracy in invoice processing. The P2P manager monitors pending invoices and orders, promotes electronic invoicing, and maintains relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.

The manager leads the P2P team, facilitating in day-to-day activities, monthly meetings, (mid-) yearly performance reviews, and supporting audit activities. He/she also tracks and optimizes P2P performance metrics and provides business support for ad hoc requests.

 

What is your profile?

You have a bachelor/master degree in Accounting/Economics/Finance, coupled with 5-7 years of hands-on experience shaping financial processes. While specific Purchase to Pay experience is a plus, it's not a deal-breaker. Fluency in Dutch/French and English is a must. You should be savvy with ERP, operational systems, and MS Office.

You are an experienced people manager. Further, you embrace automation, communicate clearly, and showcase your problem-solving skills, time-management, responsibility, commitment, motivation, and positive attitude. An analytical and process-oriented mindset is essential, along with strong organizational and project implementation skills.

What do we offer you?

The P2P Manager position offers a full-time and unlimited contract with a salary package from €63.669 to €84.892 including your 13th month, contingent on your knowledge and experience. There is also a variable annual bonus.

As part of the benefits, you will receive a company car with a fuel card or a fiscally interesting mobility budget. Your home internet expenses are covered, and you receive net expense allowances. You will have 23 days of leave (with an extra day after 1 year of service), 9 ADV days, and 1 day of experience leave for every 5 years worked.
