Mission:

The Scheduler for the GO4ZERO Project at Holcim will play a crucial role in supporting the Program Director, Project Managers, Construction Manager, and the PMO Manager. The primary mission is to aid in developing, maintaining, and updating the Master Time Schedule for the project, ensuring efficient and timely progress.

Main Tasks:

  • Project Software Management: Implement and manage project management software (Primavera) effectively within the project framework.
  • Communication: Act as a liaison between the PMO Manager, project managers, construction manager, project engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report on construction and erection progress on-site.
  • Resource Management: Explore and potentially integrate resource management and multi-project approaches into project planning.
  • Schedule Optimization: Continuously seek ways to optimize the project schedule for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Schedule Maintenance: Ensure the Master Time Schedule is always current and accurately reflects project timelines.
  • Data Integrity: Maintain, back-up, and secure all scheduling data and documentation.
  • Collaboration: Encourage and facilitate open communication among all project team members and external contractors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: University Degree in Mechanical, Process, Civil, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale projects (preferably over €500M),
  • In-depth knowledge of PRIMAVERA is a must.
  • Language: Fluency in English and French, with additional language skills (such as German) beneficial.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of production processes in heavy industry is an added-value
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication abilities, comfortable communicating across all organizational levels in English and French.
  • Project Management: Strong grasp of project management principles and practices on green field and brownfield
  • Initiative: Proactive in driving project deliverables and deadlines.
  • Attention to Detail: Methodical and detailed approach to work, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
