We are looking for a Site Acquisition Manager  based in Lisbon.

 

Job Role:

The Site Acquisition Manager (SAM) is considered a subject matter authority and Industry Leader in the field of telecommunications Site Acquisition deployment. The SAM handles all entitlement requirements of the telecommunications equipment deployment for the assigned job/sites and is the recognized leader and decision maker on all issues falling under the entitlement and pre-construction scopes. This role provides leadership, forecasting, expertise, quality control and mentorship for a project’s site development activities. This individual will take ownership for the more complicated tasks/sites and share expertise and mentoring to SAMs and other Project team members as required. The SAM is the escalation point for all issues that cannot be resolved by the site acquisition teams, the SAQ Service Providers, the construction teams, or the project team.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Determine and guide on long-term and short-term strategies for Site Acquisition capabilities by market, region, area, and domain (NSB, Mod, Small Cell, Etc.)
  2. "Parachute” into a current Site Acquisition project and assist/lead Site Acquisition activities as required to deliver the project needs for the customer. Including but not limited to Leasing, Zoning, Permitting, A&E Deliverables, Regulatory
  3. Be the Subject Matter Expert in the field of Regulatory and Compliance in terms of telecommunications siting projects- NEPA, SHPO, THPO, FAA filings, etc.
  4. Ensure the team is accurately and logically forecasting and delivering on forecasted dates within the applicable database of record.
  5. Lead weekly deployment calls to solidify and report on-site Status, issue Owner, the Action required, and the Timeframe for resolution.
  6. Report to Customer representative and/or Project Management detail on every site in deployment plan- site Status, issue Owner, the Action required and the Timeframe for resolution.
  7. Validating customer and supplier Scope of Work in determining Out of Scope items, potential scope creep, validation of Change Requests and initiating add-on sales opportunities
  8. Manage the Suppliers, Contractors, Project Support and/or other Site Acquisition Managers that ensure results are attained within the forecasted timeframe for all Site Acquisition activities on projects.

 

Qualifications:

    • Minimum 3 years of validated experience in telecommunication Site Acquisition
    • Proven track record in successful Project Management of diverse Site Acquisition deployments
    • Extensive experience working with MLA partners and tower companies.
    • Experience in handling budgets including Profit and Loss responsibility.
    • Ability to travel as required.
    • Ability to negotiate and review telecommunications leases and contracts.
    • Understanding of Real Estate practices and processes
    • Telecommunications construction process knowledge
    • Knowledge of current network design fundamentals and industry trends
    • Real Estate Sales or Brokers license, PMP Certification, and/or License to Practice Law in any State a plus.
    • Experience with Ericsson Ways of Working a plus.

    Additional Qualifications

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat
    • Google Earth and related add-ons for Antenna Structure Registry (ASR) locations
    • Ericsson operated and required tools knowledge preferred.
    • Knowledge of specific databases of record required by US carriers.
    • AutoCAD or Revit experience a plus but not required.

 

Location: Lisbon – hybrid work model
Working hours: 9 am – 6 pm, Monday to Friday
