What are your responsibilities?

The main goal of your function is to manage & implement tooling projects for internal & external clients in order to introduce new tools for the European Production Plants. The tooling projects are broad and international:

  • Establishing the project approach in conjunction with Product Management in order to define, design and monitor the project’s scope, objectives, deadlines, budget and risks;
  • Drawing up a project planning while considering project cost, budget and control, project schedule & control, change & risk management, reservation & allocations of resources;
  • Being the single point of contact on technical and practical negotiations/ discussions with external and internal suppliers;
  • Managing day-to-day execution. Ensure that the necessary resources are available in order to deliver the project timely and efficiently;
  • Report about the progress and results of tool projects to ensure that all stakeholders are correctly informed + follow-up the EU tooling list (for new; replacement & extension tools);
  • Reporting to the Production Director Europe.

Some of your daily tasks:

  • Manage the tool revision planning of existing tools;
  • Follow-up the tool creation process;
  • Monitor on-time delivery of the tools.

Who are we looking for?

  • You have a master degree combined with minimum 5 years relevant work experience;
  • You have experience with CAD/CAM, knowledge of extrusion (tooling),is a plus;
  • You are seen as hands-on, a strong communicator, a team player and a problem solver;
  • You are good in prioritizing your tasks, and working proactively;
  • You have good analytical skills, and strong interest in process methodology & project management tools;
  • You are willing to make short business trips on project need basis;
  • You can express yourself fluently in English, French and Dutch. German is a plus.
