About ENTSO-E
ENTSO-E is the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity. We coordinate the cross-border system operations, system development and electricity market activities of the 40 electricity transmission system operators (TSOs) which cover 36 countries. The ENTSO-E Secretariat in Brussels provides support on technical, market and policy developments for all European TSOs in their cooperation with each other, in their joint fulfilment of their legal mandates, and in the intensive interactions with EU decision-makers, regulatory agencies, associations representing network users and other stakeholders.

Our offer
The ENTSO-E Data team is looking for a new Intern, to support data engineering, data science and data visualisation. Are you a full-time student, interested in energy data and passionate about the European electricity grid? If yes, this an opportunity for you.
You will be offered the opportunity to:
- Gain valuable knowledge on European Electricity Data, European processes, Data governance, Enterprise Architecture.
- Gain understanding on European electricity grid processes, including electricity market, system operation and system development.
- Gain experience on data flows and interaction between ENTSO-E and the TSOs in Europe.

A monthly amount up to €700 is foreseen as reimbursement for commuting and living costs.
Your responsibilities and tasks
With the supervision of a manager:
- As part of the data governance activities, build the data catalogue for European electricity grid data.
- Provide support to working groups maintaining Enterprise Architecture for European electricity grid.
- Develop diagrams with enterprise architect to visualise and explain the data flows related to pan-European and regional electricity grid processes.
- Set up data governance maturity model in ENTSO-E.
Internship requirements
- Be a current full-time student & set up an internship agreement between the university & ENTSO-E.
- Be available on a full-time basis for a minimum of 6 months.
- Be eligible to travel and stay in Belgium for the duration of the traineeship.
- Provide proof of health insurance coverage by university.
- Be a fluent communicator in English.
- Strong appetite for Energy Data, data governance, data engineering and enterprise architecture.
- Enjoy collaborating in an international environment.
