Summary
Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering is looking for BMS software engineer. The Battery Management System (BMS) Software Engineer designs and implements control systems that ensuring the battery’s longevity, efficiency and safety. This position has a focus on BMS software in development and design.
Your responsibilities:
- Development of the software on the system level for Battery Management System (BMS)
- Analyzing and organizing BMS requirements
- Testing and debugging BMS software
- Integrating with BMS Hardware team, Mechanical Engineering team, Thermal Management team, and Project Development leads.
- Troubleshooting and fixing BMS software packages
- BMS cells monitoring
- Developing software algorithms related to BMS
Your profile:
- A degree in software engineering, or Applied Computer Science, or Computer Science, or equivalent
- 5 years’ experience in related fields
- Skills and knowledge in MathWorks environment ( MATLAB)
- Skills and knowledge in Python
- Skills and knowledge in C/C++
- Skills and knowledge in embedded software
- Ability to further developing requirements with highly technical engineering staff
- Ability to handle all types of electrical signals, low voltage, high voltage, power networks, and automotive communication protocols (CAN, TCP/IP)
- Skills and knowledge in cloud technology (Microsoft Azure)
- Knowledge in gateway device (MOXA, or other)
- Strong communication skills
- You have good planning skills
- You have good logical thinking
- You are interests in batteries development in the EV field
