The Data Reporting & Products Manager oversees a team responsible for data reporting, data product owner, data governance, and overall user support. The Reporting & Products department collaborates with the Data Engineering department to understand company/departmental data requirements and develop high-quality data solutions meeting the business needs. While the Data Engineering department focuses on back-end data systems, ensuring performance, scalability, and data reliability, the Reporting & Products department focuses on the front-end activities in close contact and collaboration with company departments and their Data Users. A first responsibility is the product ownership role, playing the bridge between business departments and our overall Data Team. Next, the department develops reporting on request, organizes reporting training, and makes sure colleagues find the right data and reports. Finally, the department steers the Data Governance activities, for example identifying the right Data Owners and Stewards. Overall this function is responsible to make sure our Business Intelligence team develops the right products, and finally makes sure the developed products are communicated and effectively used by the Business Departments. The function reports to the Head of Business Intelligence.
