ABEE is looking for a Project Financial Manager for the financial management of the broad portfolio of EU-funded projects.

 

TASKS

Contributing to the overall project administration and finance in compliance with the granting authority ruling;

Monitoring and optimization of the budget allocation and consumption during the whole lifecycle of the project, from approval to implementation and completion;

Detecting budget problems in time and providing the right solutions;

Assisting the project manager in coordinating the financial and administrative side of the project;

Reviewing projects administrative and financial documentation (Consortium and Partnership Agreements, Grant Agreements/Amendments, partners financial documentation);

Preparing and submitting financial and internal reports;

Gathering and preparing all the necessary documents for audit;

Improving internal financial processes and tools;

Contributing to the financial and administrative preparations of project proposals and tenders.

 

 

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in the administration and finance of EU funded projects (Horizon)

Good experience with Microsoft Office

Good level of English

Good knowledge of European funding programmes and rules

Good organizational and planning skills

Problem-solving attitude and initiative

 

What we offer

Full-time open-ended contract (38hrs/week)

The selected candidate will need to either live in Belgium or be willing to move to Belgium for the duration of the contract
