Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE) offers an exciting job opportunity to applicants specializing in battery cell development. We are looking for Junior Battery Cell Design Engineers to work within our R&D team and help build the European battery industry.
What you'll do
- Work with senior engineers to plan, coordinate, and execute materials selection, cell design, and testing activities
- Prepare materials test samples and assess their electrochemical performance
- Work closely with other internal teams to guide materials development toward product implementation
- Collaborate with partners and suppliers to reach shared goals
- Present technical reports to communicate key learnings
Qualifications
- Degree in Electrochemistry, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related engineering field
- Experience with battery R&D, including electrode preparation, cell assembly, and validation
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience with multicultural environments
